DSA (Division of State Architect) Project Inspector/Inspector of Record – TYR has over 16 years of experience providing inspection services for projects requiring DSA certification throughout California. Many of our skilled and professional inspectors have over 30 years of experience and are experts in different types of construction (i.e. Type I, II, III, IV & V) and in diverse construction delivery methods such as: Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Multiple Prime Contractors, Prefab Buildings, Lease-Lease Back, and Construction Manager at Risk 
OSHPD (Office of State Hospital Planning and Development) Project Inspector – TYR is well-known in the construction industry for providing highly qualified OSHPD inspectors with extensive experience in OSHPD construction inspection, particularly hospital construction projects. Each of our certified inspectors is not only OSHPD certified but also carries multiple additional licenses such as ICC, AWS and others. Our OSHPD inspection team is carefully selected in order to assign individuals that understand the goals of the client, that can share the client’s vision, and that have the experience to successfully oversee a project’s documents, progress, and budget.          
Project Closeouts  – TYR Inc. understands the importance of the final verified report to a client. Upon final inspection for the punch list items and after approval by the client project manager, AOR, and their consultants, our inspector will immediately and without delay issue a final Form-6 (final verified report). This will help facilitate a fast and smooth occupancy for the project and help expedite the plan review process for a client’s future projects with the DSA office.
TYR can also assist clients with legacy closeout projects that have not been properly certified and closed out. Our inspectors have a demonstrated track record of successfully closing out client’s legacy projects and obtaining final certification on those projects.  
CASp (Certified Access Specialist) Inspections  – TYR’s CASp specialty staff is able to inspect and review a client’s building and provide a full scope of work for any building in order to comply with CBC ADA requirements. CASp inspections help to provide a safe, accessible building and eliminate any deviations from ADA code. Conducting a CASp review also reduces a client’s legal liability and is a proactive measure to improve building accessibility for the public. 
Public Works Inspections  – Unlike many other inspection firms, TYR has extensive experience with large-scale public works projects with various licensing requirements. TYR has been honored to work with such clients as the Judicial Council of California, the California State Lottery, California State University, Los Angeles Public Works, and the County of Santa Barbara, among others. Our staff of highly qualified and diversely licensed inspectors is able to take on projects of all sizes and ensure that every item on the project’s scope of work is completed and is in compliance with approved plans and applicable codes. Each TYR inspector works to ensure a safe occupancy on schedule and within the project budget.
Third Party Testing Coordination  – One of the pivotal elements that distinguishes TYR, Inc. services from other companies is our expertise in delivering efficient management of Testing Laboratories of Record (TLOR). TYR has developed a successful and applicable system in order to guarantee a beneficial and successful relationship between the onsite IOR and LOR in order to maximize the Owner’s benefit. In addition, the IOR is responsible, under the direction of the Design Professional in General Responsible Charge, to monitor the work of the Laboratory of Record (LOR) or any special inspectors hired directly by the client to ensure that all materials testing and special inspections required for the project are satisfactorily completed in accordance with the approved documents.
